Carbide Atomizing Nozzle

A carbide nozzle is a device designed to control the direction or special gas flow (especially to increase speed) of an object entering (or exiting) a closed chamber or pipe when it enters (or exits) a closed chamber or pipe. Carbide nozzles are corrosion-resistant, have a long service life, excellent performance, high cost-effectiveness, are not easily worn, durable and cost-effective. They are widely used in surface treatment sandblasting, spray painting, water coal slurry field and misting, and other fields.

There are many types of cemented carbide nozzles, and the common ones are as follows:

Classification by structural shape:

Straight hole nozzle: The hole through which the airflow passes is straight. This nozzle forms a sealed airflow pattern for airflow on-site or internal airflow work, which is beneficial to the realization of small jobs, such as cleaning parts, welding seam forming, cleaning handrails, steps, grates, stone carvings, and other materials.

Long hill nozzle: It has a traditional long hill design. The hill hole nozzle forms a relatively sufficient air flow pattern, which can increase the grinding speed under a given pressure. Compared with the straight-hole nozzle, it can increase the abrasive consumption by about 40%. 40% productivity.

Dual Venturi Nozzle: An enhanced version of the long Venturi nozzle. Its structure has two nozzles, between a set of slits and holes that allow incoming atmosphere to enter the downstream section of the nozzle. The outlet end is also wider than a traditional nozzle. These two improvements increase the size of the airflow pattern and minimize the rate of abrasive loss.

Wide-throat nozzle: equipped with a large outlet and a large divergent outlet hole. When matched with the same size hose, it can increase productivity by 15% compared to small throat nozzles; when using lower abrasive usage patterns at higher pressures, it can increase yields up to 60%

Special-shaped nozzles: Irregular shapes, including threaded nozzles, turning nozzles, eccentric nozzles, long-neck nozzles, etc., can meet some special installation and use requirements.

Classified by application areas:

Coal-water slurry nozzle: used in coal-water slurry burners to achieve more complete and effective combustion of coal-water slurry fuel through good fuel atomization. According to the properties of the fuel and the requirements for atomization quality, it can be divided into pneumatic type, mechanical type, rotary cup type, and ultrasonic type.

Atomization nozzle: There are various forms of atomization, which can be divided into pressure atomization, rotary atomization, electrostatic atomization, ultrasonic atomization, and bubble atomization. It is widely used in spraying in agricultural production and spraying, dust removal, humidification, etc. in industrial manufacturing. Its atomization shape is generally circular or fan-shaped.

Oil nozzle: During the oil drilling process, it needs to withstand the high-speed impact of high-pressure abrasives. Carbide oil nozzles have high hardness, high strength, and excellent wear and corrosion resistance. They are suitable for such harsh working environments and can improve the efficiency of oil drilling and the service life of drill bits.
