Hongfeng Collaborates with Wenzhou University on Themed Party Day Activity to Boost Industry-Academia Integration


April 12, 2025 • Wenzhou, China – Wenzhou Hongfeng (SZSE: 300283), a provider of advanced electrical materials and intelligent equipment, announced a significant partnership initiative with the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (CMEE) at Wenzhou University through a joint Themed Party Day Activity held on April 3. The event aimed to strengthen university-enterprise collaboration, deepen industry-academia-research integration, and promote high-quality development in regional industrial upgrading and talent cultivation.

Strategic Dialogue for Mutual Development

The event convened senior leaders from both parties, including:
  • Wenzhou University CMEE: Yi Zhaodi (Party Secretary), Fang Jianxiao (Deputy Party Secretary), and three vice deans overseeing academic, research, and administrative affairs, professor alongside teacher and student representatives.
  • Wenzhou Hongfeng: Yan Xuewen (Party Branch Secretary & Board Secretary), Chen Linchi (Director & Vice President), Mu Chengfa (Vice President & Dean of Research Institute), and Party-building advisors.
    Chaired by Mu Chengfa, the event opened with a comprehensive overview of CMEE's academic strengths, student programs, and research achievements by Vice Dean Huang Shenquan. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent pipeline construction, collaborative research models, and how Party-building can guide strategic partnerships.

Milestone Agreements Signed

A highlight of the event was the signing of two key agreements:
  1. Project Cooperation Agreement: Formalizing joint research on cutting-edge technologies in electrical materials and intelligent manufacturing.
  2. Postgraduate Enterprise Practice Base Co-construction Agreement: Establishing a Joint Postgraduate Training Base to provide Wenzhou University students with hands-on industrial experience.
The subsequent plaque-unveiling ceremony marked the official launch of this partnership, symbolizing a tangible step toward integrating "talent cultivation, industrial application, and innovation-driven development." Under this framework, Wenzhou Hongfeng will offer access to its CNAS-certified laboratories, R&D centers, and production facilities, while CMEE will contribute academic expertise and research resources for technology incubation and customized talent programs.

Described as a "landmark initiative under Party-building guidance," the collaboration reflects both parties' commitment to serving local economic development. Moving forward, the partnership will:

  • Develop targeted curricula and internships aligned with industrial needs

As part of the event, CMEE leadership, led by Party Secretary Yi Zhaodi, toured Wenzhou Hongfeng's top-level facilities, including:
  • Global Hongfeng Exhibition Hall: Showcasing the company's 20+ years of technological breakthroughs
  • Key Enterprise Research Institute: Dedicated to developing next-generation electrical materials
  • CNAS National Accredited Laboratory: Certified for international-standard testing capabilities
  • Low Voltage Electrical Apparatus Test Station: A high standard facility for product validation
These visits provided firsthand insights into the company's R&D capabilities and industrial application scenarios, laying the groundwork for future collaborative projects.
